Earlier this month as it quickened its HSD service for consumers (Cfax, Aug 4), Cox promised faster speeds to come for Cox Business Internet customers. Now it’s delivered, providing a tier of 6.0 Mbps download/1.0 Mbps upstream, an increase from the 1.5 Mbps/384 Kbps tier. Cox offers 6 tiers, including a 1.5Mbps/1.5Mbps tier. Pricing varies by market, but in some business customers are receiving higher speeds while remaining at the same price point. The company launched an integrated marketing campaign to encourage new customer relationships and drive the adoption of even faster business-grade Internet speeds.
