WILLIAM STEMPER NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF Cox Business
ATLANTA , August 25, 2003 -- The appointment of William Stemper
to Vice President of Cox Business (CBS) was announced
today by Pat Esser, Executive Vice President of Operations for
Cox Communications, Inc.
In his new role, Mr. Stemper will be responsible for overseeing
the processes and activities of the commercial services division
of Cox Communications. He will provide leadership and support
for field operations and facilitate growth and profit objectives
in line with the goals of the overall company.
In making the announcement, Mr. Esser said: "Bill is a seasoned
executive with proven leadership skills and a stellar history
of business success. He has a great understanding of the goals
and objectives of the Cox Communications commercial services market
and will be an excellent resource for our field operations as
we continue to grow CBS."
Mr. Stemper has over 25 years of industry experience serving the
commercial needs of business customers in the United States and
abroad for AT&T Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree
in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and a master's
in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania's
Wharton School of Business.
