FOR FACULTY, STUDENTS
Bryant College taps Cox Business as its high-speed Internet
service provider
CRANSTON, R.I. - Cox Business, a commercial affiliate

available on campus.
The demand for Internet accessibility at this leading business

community who rely on Bryant learning labs and technology centers
as key resources. Demand for Internet access has soared as most
Bryant College students have desktop and laptop computers.

stated, “Bryant has historically recognized the importance
of introducing and maintaining state-of-the-art technology within
higher education. We have consistently committed the resources

bandwidth will guarantee that they can fully utilize all the technology
on campus, including the IBM Thinkpad® computer that is provided
to each freshman as part of tuition.”
Bryant College now has the ability to connect to Internet2, supporting
research and education.-
The Cox Optical Internet service increases the bandwidth available
to Bryant from 6 Mbps to 45 Mbps – adding about seven times
more capacity. Cox has a nationwide fiber optic IP backbone that
