Singing Hills is a 103-room golf resort located just outside
of San Diego. Its guests were requesting cable channels, in-room
entertainment and high-speed data services, but the resort was
relying on an antenna and satellite dish, and its location made
these services cost-prohibitive. In addition, Singing Hills
was using a dial-up service from one vendor, and working with
a different one for local and long distance phone service. The
goal was to upgrade voice, video and data services and streamline
the number of vendors providing these services.

Singing Hills partnered with Cox Business because
its network could handle all the resort's entertainment and
communications needs at the best price. Plus, its reliability
and attention to customer service was a good fit for a resort
that caters to its customers.
Cox Business created a solution that included cable
services and Video On Demand, which allowed Singing Hills to
expand its in-room television services. The network also included
Internet, local, long distance and toll-free telephone services.
This allowed Singing Hills to take advantage of the low rates
offered by Cox Business' bundled packages.

Increased guest satisfaction was one of the many benefits of
the new communications services provided by Cox Business.
"Guests can check e-mail in the rooms, kids can play games
on the television and they get the movies and cable channels
they expect, without extra work on the part of our staff,"
said Front Office Manager Michaelene Mansour. "If we weren't
able to offer these services, our occupancy would be adversely
affected."
Mansour was also pleased with the fast, friendly service, even
in off-peak hours. Tibbitts agreed. "The technicians who
come here are hands-down better than anyone we've worked with
before," he said.
In addition, having one vendor for all communications needs
simplified the time-consuming task of managing vendors. "While
