Continental Realty Services, Inc., is the brokerage arm for Continental Properties Corporation. CRS supplies clients with brokerage services, tenant representation, site selection and the acquisition and disposition of income-producing properties. The company was developing a new property, Bridgeway Technology Center, and was looking for a service provider for phone, Internet and data services.

Cox Business was a tenant in one of the CRS properties, so CRS was familiar with its services. The Bridgeway tenants included large, high-tech corporations, some with highly classified needs, and Cox Business had previous experience in these areas. Plus, it could also provide the customer service CRS wanted. "We did look at other vendors, but Cox Business Services was the most responsive," said Gregg Christoffersen, CRS Principal Broker.

Cox Business won the partnership, and provided broadband and fiber-optic connectivity to the 125,000-square-foot Bridgeway facility. CRS then allowed Cox Business to work directly with the tenants to take care of any specific communications needs.

The Bridgeway facility will be occupied with complete lease-up expected imminently, and according to Christoffersen, "without hesitation we would work with Cox Business again for all of our other developments at Bridgeway. We don't think we would have gotten [the tenants we have] without the sophistication in technology that Cox Business has brought to the table."

He added that the two companies stay in constant contact about prospective tenants, and his representatives at Cox Business Services are always available to answer questions and offer solutions. "The Bridgeway Technology Center development has been an absolute success on all fronts, and we believe that our cooperative agreement with Cox Business has been key to achieving that success," he said.
